The Headmaster’s Talk is taking place at 6.15pm.
Mr Vicars, Headmaster, will be talking at 6.15pm and will share with you the opportunities available at the School and why choosing Birkenhead School can be the best investment you can make for your son or daughter.
Parking is available via the entrance on Bidston Road.
Upon arrival please go to the Sixth Form Centre to register and receive your Open Evening Welcome Information.
Academic Success: A Level results place the School as one of the leading schools within the UK. Our A Level results place us 51st in the UK (out of 220 independent schools) and 85th in the UK (out of 218 independent schools) for GCSE results. At GCSE we had 59% of grades awarded 9-7 compared to the Grammar School average (on Wirral) of 49%.
Co-curricular offering: an outstanding co-curricular programme encompassing Music, Drama, Sport, along with a range of domestic and international trips.
Clubs – an extensive programme of lunchtime and after-school clubs to choose from each week – from Sports and Music to Astronomy and Costume Club – there is something for everyone to choose, try and enjoy.

Birkenhead Futures: an exciting programme designed to prepare students for Higher Education and the world of work.
Beyond the Curriculum: a range of programmes outside of the academic curriculum including etiquette lessons, first impressions and life skills that look to develop students into responsible and informed adults.
Nicholls Lecture Series: The Nicholls Lecture Series provides Sixth Form students with thought-provoking lectures on a broad range of topics from leading industry professionals introducing them to ideas, interests and experiences beyond the academic curriculum.
Old Birkonian Society: lifelong membership and access to the wider School alumni offering friendship, support and mentoring.
Take an exclusive look at our annual publication, In Focus. This carefully collated magazine is an opportunity to see all of the wonderful things children and students from Early Years to Sixth Form get up to from sport to productions and celebrates everything that makes our school so special.

Early application and attendance at the June Assessment Days (for Year 5 pupils) is strongly encouraged as the School operates a waiting list for Year 7 places.
