It is a great pleasure to welcome you to Birkenhead School, an HMC independent school and Wirral’s only co-educational selective school. Our caring environment and small setting is where children develop in confidence, beginning to learn new skills and make friends with other children. We are delighted that the Early Years provision at the School was awarded Outstanding in all areas in our most recent inspection.
The Nursery is where our youngest children, from three months to three years, begin their journey of discovery and build the foundations for a lifelong adventure of learning. Birkenhead School Pre-Prep is for children aged three and four and is the second phase in the Early Years Provision at the School. It is an exciting and fun environment with bright, spacious and modern classrooms and its own outside play area and terrace.
